Whether it is through botanical drawing and painting, still life, portraiture, mythology or urban architecture, artist Susie Parry captures and expresses specific moments in time.

Known for her highly detailed works of art Susie captures the essence of any topic she draws and paints.

Susie is a Mornington Peninsula based artist with 45 years experience as a practising artist, art teacher and art therapist.

Her art lies at the core of all that she pursues. Susie’s art making has been shaped and influenced by her life experiences and academic studies from a Dip. of Art and Design, a Grad. Dip. in Edu., a Degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Masters of Art Therapy.

The impact of these studies has contributed to qualities as an Artist and Educator. Susie’s constant curiosity and thorough observation of people, objects and nature has resulted in a meticulous exploration and technical perfection of all she observes in her subject matter.

Through her work, we are led to observe blemishes, imperfections and perfections of nature.
