I currently work mainly in acrylic paint and mixed media. I love to be outside and my work often responds to the experience of being in nature – whether in the garden or in the wild.

I think of painting and drawing as ways to learn about the world around me. And when I paint or draw, I find I look more closely and see more.

I enjoy the process of mark-making, which can lead to such exciting discoveries within the painting. I like to use spontaneous marks on the canvas and then find the image or the idea and help it emerge from the paint.
