My Photographic Journey
Seeing the World My Way
I look at things that everyone looks at, but I see them through my own perspective. This individual way of seeing shapes the foundation of my approach to photography.
Visual Storytelling and Cultural Identity
My passion is rooted in the visual storytelling of people and places, especially those with a rich and vivid cultural identity. Extensive travels around the globe have fuelled my inspiration and provided the unique backdrops for much of my work.
Humanistic Essence in Photography
At its core, my photography is humanistic. It spans the documentation of diverse lifestyles—ranging from the communities of the Mississippi Delta to the vibrant streets of Jaffa in Israel—alongside intimate portraits and even some nude subjects. Through these images, I strive to capture the essence of humanity in all its forms.
Collecting Stories Through Images
Storytelling has always been an enjoyable pursuit for me, and photography offers an endless supply of stories to collect and share. Most of the photographs I have taken are accompanied by a story or anecdote, adding personal meaning and depth to each image.
Influences and Inspiration
My work and style have been inspired by several iconic photographers, including Robert Frank, Walker Evans, Abbas Atar, Garry Winogrand, Araki, and many others. Their approaches and creative visions have shaped my own practice in countless ways.
