Since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Creative expression has been the thread weaving through every chapter of my life.
After studying at art school, I explored many creative paths—graphic artist, wedding photographer, picture framer, photo retoucher, art teacher, award-winning face and body artist, leadlighter and teacher—but at heart, I have always been an artist and painter.
My inspiration is drawn from the natural world, but my work seeks to go beyond outward appearances, uncovering the symbolic qualities and deeper meanings behind what we see. I don’t believe in creative blocks—ideas are infinite because they are not bound by the material. I feel my work comes through me, not from me. It is about expanding perception, revealing beauty, and awakening a sense of connection to Absolute Truth and Reality.
I believe our mental and spiritual environment shapes the physical, and through painting I aim to uplift thought and reveal the wonder of both the finite and the infinite, the seen and the unseen. Over time, I have moved away from literal representation toward more abstract, graphic expressions of essence—for example, my “Soundscapes” series, which visually interprets music.
I want my art to help people see in new ways—to feel harmony, beauty, expansion, and growth, and to glimpse the vastness and beauty of ideas beyond the visible.
